I assume just fill it with another PvE skill like "I am the Strongest!" or "BUH!"
As for Asuran Scan, it's actually a very powerful skill, if your build can support it. Spamming 5e every 5-12sec/when you change targets along with attack skills can be taxing on a War. Some builds support it very well. Like any Assassin physical build. If your using a WE War and you dont have AS, your missing out. However, its not so OP that it deserves a nerf.

Actually it is. But there's more that needs to go before I think this starts hitting.
That said, I won't knock hits to it, but I would think ANet have no sense of priority.

Remember, Asuran Scan doesn't just increase the power of normal attack damage, but also +dmg.

I am confused? What are we discussing? Asuran Scan? Its Prevalance in a Warrior build (w.o WE)? That it is OP?
Throw me a bone here.
EDIT: I am an idiot, I thought post #21 was post #1. Everything makes sense now...
A-Scan is not stapled to many warrior bars due to the E management issues (unless you use WE) if A scan is Smiter's Boon'd then it will simply be replaced by any other skill in the warrior tool box, whether it be PvE only or a universal skill.

We're discussing what we would do in the theoretical situation that AScan gets nerfed and is unusable.

I'm not using Asuran Scan anyway. I'm using your standard DSlash warrior in most cases. The three PvE only skills I take are Headbutt, "SY!" and Whirlwind. In special cases where I need to protect important allies I switch Whirlwind for EBoC or when there's a lot of blocking I switch Steelfang for Wild Throw. Sometimes I even take PI, though, I've been disappointed with it so far. With all the damage coming from Judge's Insight, Strength of Honor and Splinter I prefer to add some utility or protection than even more damage.
Edit: I guess you could take it with a Warrior's Endurance build for even crazier numbers. But it's not a build breaker. That build lacks of utility to begin with, so taking a specific skill to counter the area you're in isn't a bad idea.

A-scan is OP in single-target builds...but warriors would probably do better with AoE builds like 100b+whirlwind, or earthshaker+crude+whirlwind, or Triple Chop/Cyclone/Whirlwind. You're better off running I Am The Strongest or BUH in that case. I like Backbreaker, so A-scan would help out there, but most enemies are dead before I can really get to capitalize on it as my heroes tend to focus on the enemy I'm hitting even when I pin them on another enemy.

I like QB and cleave, they are simple and forgiving skills and are good enough in their own regards... their problem is that they aren't great which is why I emphasized that last part.
I like to use them to switch things up so I'm not always playing the same builds, but that's about it.
OP: most things will work without AS, they'll just do it slower.
